Pat Toomey
for U.S. Senate
First elected in 1998 to the United States House of Representatives, Pat Toomey brought with him a vast array of real world experience to Washington. Pat grew up the third of six children in a working class family. His father was a union worker, his mother a part-time secretary in their parish church. Through a series of scholarships, loans and jobs he put himself through Harvard. After college Pat worked for seven years in international finance with offices in New York, London and Hong Kong. Later, Pat started a family-owned and operated restaurant business with his brothers in both the Lehigh Valley and Lancaster County, PA. The experience Pat Toomey gained as a successful businessman in both large and small business – and, of course, as a husband, father and taxpayer – helped him to make an immediate impact in Washington. The three-term Congressman from a Democrat-leaning district has gained a national reputation as one of Congress’ strongest supporters of tax relief, pro-growth conservative fiscal policies and defender of family values. For his principled stand in the United State House of Representatives, Forbes Magazine labeled him “Congressman Courageous”, the National Review stated, “he is principled and right on the issues.” Pat lives with his wife Kris and their two children, Bridget and Patrick in Zionsville, PA. They attend St. Thomas More church in Allentown.

Pennsylvania Republican primary race for Senate is going to be one of the most important primary races in the United States. Our choice is between Pat Toomey, a consistent conservative leader, and Senator Arlen Specter, a liberal masquerading as a moderate. Republican voters deserve better than Arlen Specter and would be hard-pressed to find a better voice in the Senate than Pat Toomey. Congressman Toomey has consistently represented conservative Republican values while serving in the House of Representatives since 1998, and his voting record shows it. Congressman Toomey led the fight to expand President Bush’s 2001 tax cut, supports school choice, and has stood up for the sanctity of human life. When President Bush needs allies in Congress, he has been able to count on Pat Toomey. Yet we have so much left to accomplish, and a few liberal Republican senators stand in our way. For decades Arlen Specter has continually battled Republican objectives on all fronts of the political spectrum while in office, only to portray himself as a conservative Republican during election years in order to secure his re-election. Arlen's Specter's consistent liberal actions prompted National Review Magazine to name him "The Worst Republican Senator". A few of Arlen Specter's "Accomplishments":
Recognizing the conservative base in Central Pennsylvania, Congressman Toomey has a particularly strong commitment to representing our views in the U.S. Senate. During the campaign, Congressman Toomey will be focusing much of his efforts on our region, and he needs your help in organizing local support and helping to get the word out.
